CNET has just purchased “most of the assets” of MP3.com, which effectively means the site as we know it will cease on December 2nd. What CNET has in store is anyone’s guess, but if it mimics the evolution of their shareware catalogs, be prepared for a site that includes only paying artists. More news to come…
