David Hooper and I have been exchanging some tongue in cheek posts about how someone could make a lot of money by setting up a crowd rental service or a flash-mob-for-hire company, to help new bands look really good in front of talent buyers. (Sure, it would come under the “fool me once…” school of business, but if you really needed to make nice with a buyer, it could be a solid emergency plan).

Turns out, they already have this in India, for politicians who want to look impressive on the evening news…
