Proof of un-serious indie rock

Aug 4th, 2005 | By Joe Taylor Jr. | Category: Fun, Growing Your Audience and Web/Tech

spinme.com member J’Ae from the band Lokata sent me over one of their webisodes. It’s a fun video clip that looks behind the scenes at their recording process and other stuff they spend their time doing. (Are those pie plates you guys are hurling at each other?) An excellent example of pulling together some audience exclusivity and “backstage glance” concepts we have been discussing on the blog and in the members area.

I won’t link directly to the webisode, since it’s an exclusive benefit for their newsletter subscribers. But I will urge you to sign up on their website to see what they’re working on — there is a lot of great, audience-centric stuff going on here. Good job, Lokata!
