Idea: 180-Day Music Business Success Plan

A few months ago, I asked my readers to tell me what kind of project I should take on next. I was pretty surprised by the result. An astonishing number of musicians asked me to compile all of my most effective strategies into a simple, day-by-day playbook.

Every day of my new 180-day plan gets a two-page spread in a big, coil-bound workbook. It’s like a day planner, but with all of the action items, strategy plans, and gig outlines filled in for you. Simply complete all the tasks on time and in order, and you’ll be able to book more gigs filled with your perfect audience. For each day, you’ll get some exercises and some other notes that will inspire you along the way.

Of course, you still have to do all the work. But the strategy’s laid out for you in simple steps that you can work on with your band, your support team, and your street team. If you don’t have a support team or a street team, that’s fine – the strategy will help you get those, too.

I planned on working on this idea in early 2007, but there’s an opportunity for me to finish it sooner and ship copies of this strategy on Halloween.

But there’s a catch.

Another compelling project is competing for my attention. Like you, I’ve only got so many hours in the day, and it’s time for me to choose which of these projects I’ll be spending time on. Here’s how you can help me decide:

I’m opening up pre-orders for the spinme.com strategy for the next five days to readers of our newsletter. If I receive just TWELVE orders, I’ll know that it’s the right time for me to finish this project. If I don’t get 12 orders by Thursday, I’ll know that it’s a great idea that needs to percolate until at least next spring.

When the strategy goes on sale to the general public, it will sell for at least $179. However, during this pre-order period, I’ve reduced the price to $97. If we get just 12 folks on board, the big boxes of workbooks and CDs will ship before October 31.

If you’re really ready for a step-by-step guide to building your audience and booking more gigs, and you’re really ready to take what I’ve written about in my books to the next level, follow this link to place your pre-order.
