Grants for Emerging Latin Songwriters

The ASCAP Foundation and Heineken USA have teamed up to launch a new music grant program for emerging songwriters in key music cities around the country.
The Heineken USA/ASCAP Foundation Grant Program will benefit emerging Latin music songwriters in the Los Angeles and Miami music communities, and emerging Pop/Rock music songwriters in the New York, Chicago, and Boston music communities. The songwriter (or songwriters) of the winning song applying from each of the cities will be selected to receive a $2,000 grant.

I would appreciate if you could send me detailed information on how to enter the contest to be eligible for the grant. I am a Puerto Rican/ Black song writer of ten years from Upstate, New York currently residing in the nations capital; approximately a year awy from recievibg a degree from Howard University in the field of Communications.
