Sep 16th, 2004 | By Staff | Category: Opportunities

Live365 and GarageBand.com have announced a plan to break new music.

Live365 will use GarageBand’s rating system to select the best music to broadcast to their millions of listeners.

GarageBand is waiving digital performance royalties. According to Rags Gupta, COO of Live365, this a great opportunity for the independent musician.

Live365 and GarageBand will enable artist revenue opportunities by translating radio airplay into sales via links that encourage listeners to purchase downloads or CD’s.
