Way back in 2003, I tried to do a colleague a favor by listing an internship opportunity here on the weblog. Amazingly, that posting is still in the top five search results for “Chicago Internship” on a few major search engines.

Sadly, I keep seeing folks apply for that internship in the comments. Sigh. That is not a good first step.
