Ruben’s been our favorite in the office, because he’s exhibited — either effortlessly or unconsciously, we can’t really tell — so many attributes of successful artists. Stellar performances, innovative branding (I hope he gets a cut of the “205” jersey action), accessability, everything.EXCEPT, in the last few weeks, the vibe from host, judges and co-stars has been that Ruben’s a “lock.” (With Locke on his heels, granted.) The message that gets to fans: “I don’t need your help.”Take a look at what messages you’re sending to YOUR fans. Remind them that you’re only able to do what you do when they support you.
