Apple’s new iMusic service is going gangbusters — and it’s encouraging that they’re ready to start bringing more indies into the mix. Keep in mind, before you start firing off press kits, that you still need to have an established audience before getting included in one of these services will really benefit you. Just like your stuff would get filed away in a record store, your tracks will sit in a list along with millions of others. It’s always going to be your job to give your audience a reason to seek you out.0
