The folks at PC Magazine weigh out the total cost of ownership of a substantial music collection and realize that — as WiFi and broadband become ubiquitous — it’s far cheaper to belong to a buffet service like Rhapsody or Virgin Digital than it is to keep buying CDs or even MP3’s.
