With the caveat that I’m not an attorney, and an experienced entertainment lawyer can walk you through these steps, I’ve been walking through a process with my clients that shows them how to structure their music business in a way that protects their long-term income and opens up a possibility for outside investors to step in. On this conference call, I walk through all of these options with our callers, along with some alternate methods for raising cash for producing an album that don’t require you to turn over any ownership or equity. This call was a blast, and covers a lot of ideas that I have been sharing in bits and pieces over the last few months.
