Got a Spare Thumb?

Welcome to spinme.com, where we help working musicians make more money making music. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed or our weekly newsletter. Thanks for visiting!

The folks at SongCritic are trying something interesting. Artists can pay $5 to post a song, and have it reviewed by a few hundred of their regular readers. The $5 is more than fair to cover their operating overhead (streaming is still pretty pricey for the average person), and even if you’re not getting feedback on the level of a TAXI, if you find one new fan who’s willing to buy a CD or a concert ticket, your investment pays off.
