Over the past few months, I’ve been advising artists to make some waves by forming collectives and staging great collaborative events. Philadelphia’s Mick Choder just upped the ante — in reaction to the Shuffle Nights at clubs in town, he’s pulling together FIFTY singer/songwriters to play in an all-night “Live Shuffle” as part of Philly’s Fringe Festival in September.

[p.s., thanks for the note, Mick!]

  1. Mick Says:

Thanks for the mention…the 3rd annual Philly Song Shuffle went as planned, with exactly 50 artists performing in 210 minutes. We sold enough tickets to fill the room, and some local radio personalities, promoters, bookers, and even a recording studio owner showed up and stayed the whole time. See you next year! :)
