2003 was a challenging year for a lot of us. I know it was for me. I watched a business I founded in 1994 crumble under the weight of the struggling economy. I had to make some hard choices involving people I loved and companies I’ve worked with for years. And, just like you, I had to make some sacrifices just to keep the gears turning.
At the same time, the chores and pains of 2003 have reinvigorated me. They taught me how to refocus on the people and places I love. They inspired me to launch a new business devoted solely to my passion for music. And they gave me the motivation and strength to make 2004 kick 2003’s ass.
If you’re one of the many folks I’ve had the pleasure to speak with or work with in 2003, thank you for hanging in there. Your dedication to your craft is what keeps me going.
Let’s make this our best year.
