I was signed by Sylvia Rhone when she was Pres. of east/west(Atlantic). Never got album budget approval. I wrote “Shelter” for Cheap Trick which appears on their 1997 self titled c.d. Steven Tyler has taken a very big interest in me however I have yet to find my place in the biz. Although I have written for Cheap Trick, and Steven has become a great friend…..my music is more on the David Bowie,Prince side of things. Anyway your program sounds great. Seems its to late for me to apply? I’d appreciate any updated info if availible.

Hard hitting rocking R&B RENE PORTE is definately creating a buzz in Long Beach Ca.
You can find her rocking on the 3rd street side of the Promenade on Fridays farmers market. The girl is BAAD!! on that guitar and her earthy voice, strong like Patty La Belle, I also checked out her TV show call

i am broke;always have been;i am a songwriter/recording artist in need of everything.The Dangling@myspace is all i’ve got.It’s just me playing and singing into an almost worthless tape recorder.i had to record my stuff over and over before i could get what i got,not much.Most of my material ca’nt be recorded that way.Wo’nt you please help?
